Camp Scorpion, Afghanistan–Deployed O-3 offered non-judicial punishment in the CENTCOM AOR for negligently discharging his fiream while cleaning it in his deployed “barracks.” Mr. Tolin worked with this client to take responsibility, while obtaining support from other servicemembers to prove this officer’s worth to the mission. Ultimately, the NJP was withdrawn, and the officer was given lower-level administrative action and allowed to complete his deployment in a different role.
