Fort Polk, Louisiana–High-speed former company commander was retained by a Board of Inquiry held at the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, Louisiana.
This field grade officer took on the mantle of command, but ultimately had an AR 15-6 substantiated against him, as he made the mistake of putting mission before people, without recognition in time to be handled at his level. Based on the Army requirements, removing him from command in the last months of his tour wasn’t enough–he was brought to a Board of Inquiry (often called a discharge board) to prove his value to the Army outside of command.
Luckily, this officer had retained Veritas Military Law from the outset, and together they executed a months-long strategy that culminated in his retention (even though his detailed military counsel from Trial Defense Services told him there was no hope in fighting).
